Supporting sustainability: ESG at ViaCon

Welcome to ViaCon’s quarterly sustainability newsletter. In this issue, explore our latest Scope 1 and 2 emissions results and dive into case studies from real-world projects showcasing our sustainable solutions.

A comparison of ViaCon’s scope 2 and 3 between 2024 and 2025.

Despite an increase in production output during the period, ViaCon achieved a 4.28% reduction in total Scope 1 & 2 emissions year-to-date (YTD) compared to 2024. Scope 1 emissions rose by 16.74% (from 848.2 to 990.2 tCO₂e), likely reflecting higher direct energy use associated with increased activity. However, Scope 2 emissions fell by 22.53% (from 976.9 to 756.8 tCO₂e), indicating improved energy efficiency or cleaner electricity sourcing. The net result is a more carbon-efficient operation, with lower overall emissions despite greater output.
